Provides IUDs, vasectomies, contraceptives, sexually transmitted disease screenings, pap smears, and reproductive health counseling. Pregnant patients get one-on-one support from a Certified Community Health Worker and Registered Nurse throughout their pregnancy. Also provides education on a healthy pregnancy, and helps arrange lab work, ultrasounds, and doctor visits. Postpartum services, including support with feeding your baby, breastfeeding and breast pump support/teaching, and mental health support as well as family planning services.

Offers publications on various health topics such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, body image, HIV/AIDS, menopause, quitting smoking and violence against women. Information is available for special populations: minority women, women with disabilities, girls, and men. Referrals can be made to appropriate national health organizations.

Parent Child Health supports families in Kitsap with multiple programs. Our staff is available to provide referrals and guidance to all pregnant and parenting families in the county in multiple languages. A free, personal nurse for first time, low income mothers. Maternal Health Services provides community-based programs and services focused on providing preventive health and education for growing families throughout Central Washington. With a staff dedicated to giving families a healthy, hopeful start in life, Maternal Health Services offers programs in genetic counseling, maternity support services, maternal child health home visiting and coordination of regional perinatal improvement programs. Essential Needs: - Provides diapers of various sizes, wipes and formula based on availability. Can receive additional supplies every 30 days. - Provides clothing sizes newborn to 2T every 60 days. Takes up to two business days to fill order. - Offers other essential items every 60 days such as Baby bathtub, stroller, highchair, etc. based on availability. Parenting Classes: - Circle of Security teaches parents to identify, understand and respond to their child's emotional needs. The 8-week course is offered quarterly for caregivers of children aged six months to five years. - Baby Care 101 is a course providing expectant and newly parenting caregivers education and tools to learn how to care for their new baby. - Toddler Care 202 is an interactive parenting series that covers child development, nutrition, sleep, potty-training, and more. - Also offers an interactive music class for children ages birth-5 to attend with their caregiver. Pregnancy and Parenting Support: Offers a weekly drop-in social support group for moms with children up to age 5.
