Kinship Caregiver Support Program offered by Snohomish County Long Term Care and Aging at Snohomish County Human Services
Provides encouragement, advocacy and kinship caregiver support groups to relatives raising relative children. A relative may be a grandparent, aunt, uncle, adult sibling or someone who has a longstanding relationship with the minor child. Financial assistance is available to qualifying caregivers raising another relatives child(ren). Assistance can include utilities, food, clothing, car repair, rental/mortgage assistance, etc.

Eligibility
Must be raising minor children that are related by blood, or significant prior relationship. Child must be 18 or younger. Biological parent(s) are absent from the home. Must not have an open case with Child Protective Services. Must live in Snohomish County. Must qualify at 300% or below federal poverty level in WA State.
